چکیده
Abstract Study question How significant is the age factor for clinical success of controlled ovarian stimulation cycles (COS) in various subgroups egg donors? Summary answer There no negative impact donor outcome donation cycle. What known already It was shown that an independent outcomes, which could predict over 80% IVF success. also reported there were associations between oocyte harvest and probability live birth, adjusting age. Different studies showed less than 25 years old doesn’t better embryo development or pregnancy same group recipients. design, size, duration Three centers having been involved this study, data used from donors (n = 6319) examined 2019-2022, they divided into 3 groups (A: 19-22, B: 23-29, C: ≥30 years). COS protocols analyzed including different parameters: number oocytes retrieved, antral follicle count (AFC), maturation rate (MR), utilization (UR) follicle-to-oocyte index (FOI). The association cycle parameters characteristics assessed by T-Student (parametric) U-Mann-Whitney (non-parametric). Donor age is a major determinant of success of oocyte donation/recipient programme.
BACKGROUND In recent years, particularly in developed countries, women have tended to delay childbirth until over 40 years of age. Our study aims to identify whether the donor's age or recipient's age influences the pregnancy and live birth rate following oocyte recipient cycles. METHODS A population study included 3889 fresh oocyte recipient cycles. Pregnancy and live delivery rates were com...
متن کاملDonor age is paramount to success in oocyte donation.
Several reports suggest increasing age in oocyte donors decreases the chances of in-vitro fertilization (IVF) success, while others describe no effect. The published data concerning gravidity and parity are similarly conflicting. To further address these questions, we retrospectively studied 445 consecutive donor IVF cycles at two large university-based IVF practices. Donor cycles were analysed...

متن کاملBecoming a mother by non-anonymous egg donation: secrecy and the relationship between egg recipient, egg donor and egg donation child.
The object of the study was to investigate secrecy in non-anonymous egg donation, to explore some characteristics of this kind of egg donation arrangement and the relationship of the recipient with her non-genetic child. Forty-four egg recipients and 62 IVF patients with a child conceived through egg donation and/or IVF were recruited. A semi-structured questionnaire was sent to all the partici...
